Mini-Kaleidoscopes: This is a good introduction to
activities on color and light. Real mirrors would be
better, but you have to be careful about safety.

Marble Maze: We loved doing this and wish the
session had lasted longer.

Pringles Challenge: This was a riot! Many of the
Pringles actually survived their trip across town!

Forensics in the Classroom: This site, from Court
TV, turns the girls into CSI investigators.

Spills and Ripples: These great activities  from the
AIMS Education Foundation  are always fun.

Chemistry T-Shirts: This great activity was shown to
me by a Fairfax County High School Chemistry
teacher. It has become a perennial favorite.

Packaging in Miniature: We became industrial
engineers and packaged items for sale.
